Munnar in monsoon becomes heavenly. This popular hill station of Kerala is ideal for a monsoon break in India as the rain helps it get dressed in one of the nature’s best attire. Munnar receives heavy rainfall between June and September.
How to Reach:
3 hours 40 minutes(130.1 km) via road from Cochin if you take the NH49. The nearest railway stations are Aluva and Ernakulam. The nearest airports are Cochin at 110 km and Madurai, which is 140 km away.

Spot exquisite wildlife at Anamudi region in the western ghats; enjoy nature walk along the beautiful lakes in Devikulam and visit the Attukal waterfalls.
